Perth’s first dance music show Full Frequency will celebrate 30 years on community station RTRFM with a free all-day party and sets from some of the finest DJs to call Boorloo home at PICA Bar on Saturday 30 November. Starting in 1995 on The Sound Alternative, Full Frequency has become an iconic fixture in the local dance music scene. It began as a segment during Drive in 1994, and was soon given the 3 to 5pm slot Monday to Friday on 92.1FM with a roster of hosts.

Adrian Brine has departed ARN and Australia for a new role as Group Content Manager for MediaWorks NZ radio stations The Edge, Mai FM and George FM. While he has wrapped up his role as Content Director for Melbourne’s KIIS 101.1, he will continue as Director of Growth for broadcast promotions management platform Audata. Adrian made the announcement on LinkedIn:The superstar wife in question is Ash London who is currently hosting the Hopeless Romantics podcast.

SCA’s Triple M Network has 40 radio stations across Australia. With the announcement last week that the network will now have two national drive programs, Marty Sheargold (pictured) across NSW and Queensland, and James ‘JB’ Brayshaw and Billy Brownless in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania, those state’s capital cities, except Sydney and Melbourne, have lost one of the only remaining live and local drive shows on a commercial music station.

SCA has confirmed that changes are being made to its Radio Traffic services team. Staff have been notified that a number of roles are moving offshore as the company adopts a hybrid operating model across both Australia and the Philippines. An SCA spokesperson said:“SCA is focused on driving revenue performance in tandem with an ‘always on’ approach to cost management and confirms that it has commenced the process of making changes to its Radio Traffic services team.
