In Switzerland’s rural northwest canton of Jura, several churches gathered together for a 24-hour prayer event from noon Saturday to noon Sunday in mid-September. On May 24, the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to halt its military offensive in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.
