It features double the die size, with a higher core clock speed of 150 MHz, and twice the memory at 520 KB of SRAM across ten banks. The RP2350 also includes new security enhancements. Its die size measures 5.3 mm², in contrast to the 2 mm² of the RP2040.

Lab Talk Overview Our guest Jeroen Domburg is no stranger to Elektor: as a young maker in the 2000s, he contributed many projects in Elektor Mag. Some 15 years later, Jeroen works at Espressif, the manufacturer of the well-known ESP8266 and ESP32 controllers. Of course, he has once again contributed his own projects to our Espressif guest-edited issue, such as a picture frame with Internet access.
