There have been rumors, and even some confirmation, on the potential for an Xbox handheld console for about a year now. Phil Spencer himself confirmed they are working on a handheld device, but he said it’s years away. Now, photos have leaked about a possible ASUS ROG Ally 2 handheld, complete with FCC (Federal Communications Commission) filings. What makes this a possible Xbox handheld (But maybe not the official one?) is in the upper left corner.

After revealing the other day that they are indeed delaying Grand Theft Auto 6, the most anticipated game in years, to May 2026, Rockstar secretly dropped a second trailer for the game. While it’s still a year away now, it’s hopefully enough to whet everyone’s whistle. This time around, we’re introduced to the characters of the game that we are likely to interact with the most, aside from the main characters, who now have full names.

Despite a press release, many people found out about the sale through announcements on social media from many of the journalists that were laid off, including Chris Plante. That could be due to the press-release not mentioning the layoffs, surely a simple oversight given how many people are now out of work. The sale also came during a time which the Vox Media Union was negotiating a new contract. Independence is something we all strive for. Some achieve it, some do not.

The last time we saw a StarCraft game was about 10 years ago with the release of Legacy of the Void, but Blizzard is making some movements that suggest the drought is nearly over. According to MTN, a Korean news site, Blizzard has been shopping around bids for a Korean-based game company, apparently offering the use of the rights to the Starcraft IP for development, packaged with developing a mobile Overwatch game. And the winning bid seems to have gone to Nexon.
