In a press release on Saturday (25 Jan), the Ministry of Health (MOH) said Prudence Family Clinic will not be able to offer any healthcare services, effective immediately. Prudence Family Clinic was granted a licence to provide outpatient medical services under the Healthcare Services Act 2020, MOH said.

    Elderly woman scammed by scammers posing as Shopee staff & MAS officerJust days after retirement, an elderly woman was scammed of S$100,000 in hard-earned retirement funds by a scammer. The single 65-year-old woman, who declined to be named, told Shin Min Daily News that the scammers took her money after a four-hour-long phone call with her. The woman received a phone call at about 6pm on 9 Jan from an unknown number, she said.

    Dog owner says 2-3 rat burrows treated with pesticide seen at Serangoon CentralDog walkers have been warned to keep an eye on their dogs after a few rat burrows treated with pesticide were seen in Serangoon Central. In a post on the Dogs Singapore Facebook group on Thursday (23 Jan), netizen Matthew Koh shared a photo of one such rat burrow. The hole in the grass verge, right next to a walkway, had been laced with white powder.

    8-vehicle accident along Jalan Bukit Merah involved 7 cars & 1 taxiOn the same day that a five-vehicle accident brought traffic to a standstill on the Seletar Expressway, eight vehicles were involved in an accident along Jalan Bukit Merah. Photos posted of the aftermath on Facebook by Singapore roads accident.com showed at least three lanes of the main road blocked by the vehicles involved. One of the vehicles appeared to be a blue Comfort cab.
