    The clinical staging of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), including geographic atrophy (GA), which is defined as the late stage of nonexudative AMD, has been classified historically using color fundus imaging,1,2 but, in clinical practice and clinical trials, more recent imaging modalities have been widely used to characterize the stage and progression of GA. 3,4 These other imaging methods include fundus autofluorescence, near-infrared reflectance, and OCT.

    In 2011, I came across a Techcrunch article titled ' Tablet Zero ' by Devin Coldewey. It chronicled the legal conflict between Apple and Samsung at the time when the iPhone and iPad were still in their infancy, and Samsung had introduced their Galaxy brand to find a foothold in the burgeoning market for personal smart devices. Apple argued that Samsung's competing Galaxy devices were blatant and shameless rip-offs of its own products.
