Share on One of the largest colleges in Ontario is dropping dozens of its full-time programs due to the federal government’s move to reduce the number of international students in Canada. Centennial College has announced that 49 programs will not be accepting new students in the 2025-26 academic year. This includes 16 programs in its business school, 14 programs in its media school and seven programs in its engineering school.

Share on Toronto Police are launching a new initiative dubbed ‘Project Dodger’ to target a rise in criminal and violent incidents within the tow truck industry. According to officials, plainclothes and uniformed officers will be deployed in critical areas around the city of Toronto to address arsons, shootings and other criminal acts linked to “bad actors” in the industry, noting that such incidents have been tied to ongoing territorial disputes within the towing industry in the city.

Share on Far-right and left-wing lawmakers of France have joined together to vote a no-confidence motion sparked by budget disputes that forced Prime Minister Michel Barnier to resign. The motion was approved by the National Assembly by 331 votes. A minimum of 288 votes were required. Amid this, President Emmanuel Macron maintained that he would serve the rest of his term until 2027.
