This morning, British lawyers representing Hamas filed an application to reverse the 2021 designation of the political and resistance movement as a proscribed terror organization. The British home secretary will have 90 days to issue a decision. While it is technically not a court case, should Yvette Cooper decide to maintain the designation, Hamas could appeal the decision before a commission with authority to overturn the designation.
