    The culmination of hours upon hours of hard work came to a head this month in Middleton where the Grace Grizzlies took on 47 schools in the 1A track and field classification, with the boys team finishing in 15th place with 21 points while the girls team had its most successful state-meet campaign in over 10 years, scoring 17 total points to take 16th place. As with any athletic competition, some things went great, while others left athletes scratching their heads in frustration.

    The Soda Springs Public Library is welcoming violinist Laurana Wheeler Roderer and her father, Idaho lawmaker Josh Wheeler, for a special musical narration of the story of Ferdinand the Bull at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 19. The event is free and open to the public. Raised in Idaho Falls, Roderer began fiddling and playing in a family band by age 7.
