Just a month after landing two of Chicago's best players, Illinois football landed a statement of a commitment from the southern part of its state. Composite four-star Belleville (Ill.) West defensive back Nick Hankins announced his commitment to Illinois on Thursday on the Illini Inquirer YouTube channel. The 6-foot, 190-pound cornerback chose Illinois over more than two dozen offers, including a final five that also included Missouri, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Iowa.
