1. Truly disconnecting was quite an experience during my weeklong vacation last week. On a cruise in the Caribbean, I had wiFi for only 72 hours of our eight-day maritime journey. The screen time on my phone went down 75%, and most of that was just taking pictures and looking at the cruise's own app to see the day's menu and schedule of events. I didn't open my laptop for eight straight days, undoubtedly a record streak for me. I love my job. I love sports. I love writing. I love reporting.

Post spring ball Illini football depth chart? I will probably dive more into this with comments for a story later, and I'm only going three-deep so not every player is listed, but my quick educated guess.

My seven thoughts entering the week: 🔸 On disconnecting 🔹 Pondering possible #illini MBB marquee noncon matchups 🔸 How Illini filled out the roster 🔹 More NBA Draft Combine reps for Underwood 🔸 PFF too low on Illini's 2026 NFL Draft prospects? https://t.co/Zjss0vXU5m

RT @mrwagner25: #illini WBB has a mostly-set roster heavy on versatility and length, but less experienced. "It could be the most talented…
