Novocaine is a fun thrill-ride movie that’s entertaining and action-packed. I only heard of this Jack Quaid film a few weeks before its premiere, due to the viral promotional campaign. However, it was one of the rare new action movies that caught my eye. Based on the NBA Novocaine promo, I made assumptions that the film involved someone who got hurt a lot and used that to fight criminals. I was mainly right about the unique premise, but there was a little more to the film than expected.

We witness our first real break from the formula on this ABC medical dramedy. Doctor Odyssey Season 1 Episode 15, “Crew Week,” changes things up and shows a different path for our trio. Avery, Tristan, and Max are still grieving the what-ifs with their never-there child. However, Avery makes a definitive decision to go to medical school. Meanwhile, Max ponders leaving the ship and taking a job on land. Tristan considers getting into a serious relationship with Vivian.

Sometimes, unexpected happy endings occur. After a few darker consecutive episodes, Will Trent Season 3 Episode 14, “A Funeral Fit for a Quartermaine,” takes a hopeful turn. Rafael and Sunny survive and ride off into the witness protection sunset. Rafael Wexford has been the criminal that the series needed. He is charismatic, adds intrigue to Will’s life, and is simply a very entertaining addition. Because Rafael has been such a successful addition to the show, his exit almost feels too soon.

Million Dollar Secret is a Netflix original reality TV show that I am really enjoying. However, it still has quite a few things to work through. If you’re unfamiliar with the series, it follows a group of individuals trapped together while trying to figure out who is lying about having the box containing a million dollars — hence the name. It’s quite similar to The Traitors but with some distinct differences. I like The Traitors and Million Dollar Secret for different reasons.

A Goofy Movie is one of those films that I have seen a ridiculous number of times because I used to watch it a lot growing up. Unlike many of my childhood favorites, I have seen it at least once or twice as an adult. However, I have not watched it within the last five years. But I still remembered the movie pretty well before this rewatch. A Goofy Movie turns 30 in 2025, so I wanted to celebrate this milestone by rewatching it.
