PENNSAUKEN – There are always a couple of surprises at the NJSIAA track & field Meet of Champions. Shore Conference seniors Nnaemeka Amaechina of Central Regional and Hunter Celkupa of Colts Neck turned in two of them at the 2025 edition. Amaechina won the boys long jump with a monster leap of 24 feet, 1 inch – breaking the Ocean County record in the process. Celkupa, who began the spring season sidelined by a foot injury, rallied to win the 1600 in a time of 4:12.10.
