On April 1st, the worst possible day for this to happen, a listing for Hollow Knight Silksong appeared on Xbox.com. Though listing doesn't provide any clarity on when the game is going to be released, it does confirm it will be on Game Pass on day one and is optimized for Xbox Series X|S. This is both a good sign, as it's a sign of something, but also a cruel reminder that it has been five years since the game was announced.

I once read in a very profound article published in a very prestigious magazine (okay, it was a TikTok) that "daddy issues" make artists while "mommy issues" make writers. I can't attest to the science--or lack thereof--behind this statement, but as a writer born into a long line of guarded women who wielded pens as weapons, I can absolutely relate. Snow Rui, president and CFO of Hooded Horse, revealed that she was drugged while visiting San Francisco for the Game Developers Conference (GDC) last week. Rui shared her story on LinkedIn, laying out a full account of what happened as well as calling out "the complete indifference and inaction" of both GDC and the San Francisco Police Department. According to Rui, she was drugged Thursday, March 21 while "unwinding" at her hotel's lounge with some of her Hooded Horse colleagues.

Big changes are coming to Overwatch 2, all of them an attempt to make the first-person shooter more "generous," according to game director Aaron Keller. Among the changes headed our way are the addition of the Mythic shop, greater coin distribution, new and reworked maps, a new game mode, and most notably, free heroes. Starting with Season 10, all heroes will be free-to-play upon release. This includes Venture, a drill-wielding damage hero who also marks the game's first non-binary character.
