    At around 10:40pm local time on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday, local police responded to sounds of gunfire outside of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. By the time they arrived, they found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds, and both were pronounced dead at the scene. State regulators issued a cease and desist against Kalshi earlier this year, and the platform sued in response. So far, Kalshi has been granted a preliminary injunction to continue operating while the case is deliberated.
