Spotify has experienced a service outage that’s left users around the world unable to stream music. Outages detected on the Downdetector website, which tracks social apps for problems, were first noted around 1pm UK local time (5am PT). Thousands of users in the U.S., UK and Europe have reported they have no service, suggesting a global outage. Only audio already downloaded to a library is accessible, with no downloading or streaming currently possible.

EXCLUSIVE: One More Time producer Counterfeit Pictures has hired Just For Laughs‘ Blake Gregory for its audio division. Canadian comedy scene veteran Gregory has been named Director of Production at Counterfeit Sounds, working alongside Director of Talent Zoe Rabnett and reporting to Counterfeit partner Anton Leo. The role is a new one, and will see Gregory focusing on expanding the production house’s presence in the audio space.
