Ghost of Tsushima, the critically acclaimed PlayStation title that sees players take on the role of a samurai defending his homeland, is getting an anime adaptation. Announced at 2025's Consumer Electronics Show, the upcoming series seeks to "offer fans an exciting new way to experience the game" alongside "bold and groundbreaking animation." As such, Sony Music and PlayStation Studios are collaborating with anime distributor Crunchyroll and Demon Slayer studio Aniplex to bring the show to life.

After 31 years, PlayStation icon Shuhei Yoshida is retiring from Sony Entertainment Interactive. The account-executive-turned-SIE-president--who stepped down from his former position back in 2019 in order to helm the company's Independent Developer Initiative--revealed the news via an interview shared on the official PlayStation Blog. Yoshida's last day with the company will be January 15, 2025.

I felt that way when Beyond the Storm was announced, and I felt that way again when Deck Nine revealed they would be continuing Max Caulfield's story with Life is Strange: Double Exposure.
