Fears around the safety of Boeing's aircraft have resurfaced following the fatal crash of an Air India flight. The Boeing 787-8 plane carrying 242 people, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad Airport, India. It's currently unclear what caused the crash, but at least 105 deaths have been recorded; 53 British nationals, 169 Indian nationals, 7 Portuguese passengers and 1 Canadian were onboard the flight to London Gatwick.

'Unruly' passengers flying with Ryanair could soon find themselves out of pocket, as the budget airline has introduced a £500 'disruptive passenger' fine. The new charge follows countless cases of rowdy passengers removed from flights, many of them alcohol-related. While the low-cost carrier will continue to pursue civil damages against some disruptive passengers, the £500 will act as a minimum consequence for those who are kicked off a flight.

I wasn't scared of being disowned or thrown out, like so many in the LGBTQ+ community unfortunately still are. 'I had no idea,' she said. 'How do you know?' It's a common response. A lot of parents think their kids are 'too young to know'. But if I'd told her I fancied a boy, she wouldn't have batted an eyelid.
