Why couldn't they just let Thunderbolts* fun title sit? Still in the first week of the Thunderbolts* theatrical release, and it seems that viewers across the board are receiving the Marvel Cinematic Universe film favorably. I myself went in with middling expectations and emerged pleasantly fulfilled and entertained.

Sacrificing character in the transition from D&D Actual Play to webcomic. After this week's episode and with it the conclusion of our party's first battle, I think it's time to admit that a Webtoon might not be the best vehicle for a full D&D campaign. Longtime fans were under no illusion that the Webtoon would be an exact 1-to-1 translation from the campaign: each installment is at least 2 hours long and full of player in-jokes.

The kawaiification of Fantasy High characters in the story's comic adaptation and why it's bad. The first three episodes of Dimension 20's Fantasy High adaptation dropped on Webtoon at the end of March, and so far, we seem to be in the Owlbear spirit! The setup of the characters is giving fans everything they could want: from Gorgug and Fabian's fight to Riz being spiked in the trash and dubbed "The Ball." The comic seems to be framed from the point of view of Riz, our young goblin unlicensed PI.

With the delays in filming, all we can do is wonder about The Batman II, and what might be up with the Joker. The Batman really shook up the comic scene, bringing us a new approach to the infamous Bat and creating a contemporary landscape where the Dark Knight could really thrive. Unfortunately, with the latest projection of an Oct. 1, 2027 release, they won't even begin filming until the end of this year.
