Spire is requesting a 15% rate increase for Missouri customers’ natural gas services. According to Spire, this will raise the average residential customer’s monthly bill by approximately $14 and take effect this fall if approved by the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC). The increase would total approximately $236 million annually. Spire’s notice states this increase is to recover the cost of advanced meter technology and improved reliability and service in the state.

Cottleville has spruced up Legacy Park to keep it fun and safe for young residents at play. The city recently shared news on playground improvements, noting that replacement equipment was ordered last summer. “The parks staff has begun to remove the existing components that are wearing out and replace them in kind including but not limited to slides, rock climbing rocks, etc,” a social media post states. “The play surfacing areas that began to fail were recently replaced as well.
