In addition to the investment, the companies are also signing a partnership with Drip leveraging the Wefin platform, SRM Group’s technological front, to streamline its credit operations.

Brazilian pharmaceutical company Eurofarma announced the launching of Eurofarma Ventures, a corporate venture capital arm that will invest up to$100 million in biotech startups. Beyond this fund, the company’s innovation arm includes Eurolab, Latin America’s largest pharmaceutical innovation group, which has 600 researchers working on over 400 new drug projects, as well as an organic synthesis laboratory dedicated to the discovery of new molecules.

The Colombian government led by Gustavo Petro reached a preliminary agreement with Alianzaln, the representative entity for prominent delivery companies like Rappi, Didi, and several others. This agreement would ensure social security benefits for around 120,000 workers. Under the settlement, businesses could pay 60% of their employees’ social security contributions, even if they remain independent accountants. This new arrangement could have a significant financial impact.
