Former Penn State football player Julian Fleming was seriously injured Friday after an ATV crash that left one person dead. Fleming, 24, was driving an ATV on Painter Lick Lane in Columbia Township, Bradford County, when it collided with a deer at about 8 p.m., according to a crash report released Saturday by state police at Towanda. His passenger, Alyssa D. Boyd, 23, of Bloomsburg, suffered extensive injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Major renovation work is underway at the Sackett Building on Penn State’s campus, part of an overall $89.9 million project that will continue for at least another couple years. Part of the College of Engineering Master Plan, the project for the building that borders the southwest edge of Pattee Mall was approved by the Penn State Board of Trustees in November.
