Two weeks before we left for Europe, we spent three days in the Mammoth Lakes area. This was a long awaited trip that took much too long to plan and was exactly what our bodies and minds needed. About a month ago, we had a weekend getaway in San Diego, CA. We love the beach town energy, warm temperatures, and abundance of activities in and near Balboa Park. For the first day, we woke up bright and early and left at 6 am to beat traffic. We enjoyed a tasty and filling bagel breakfast from a local deli before we made it to the day’s main attraction: the San Diego Zoo!Believe it or not, we were there from 9–5 pm walking around the entire park and admiring the animals.
