Seattle Children's pre-leased nearly half of the 11-story building ahead of the start of construction. Seattle Children’s Research Institute has begun moving into a new life science tower in the Denny Triangle neighborhood. The 282,716-square-foot project, called 1916 Boren, was completed in January. Seattle Children's pre-leased nearly half of the 11-story building — 124,000 square feet — ahead of the start of construction in 2022, and will use the space for pediatric research.

This is the third Seattle-area location for the boba chain. The 1,700-square-foot store is located at 1212 State Ave. in a retail center near downtown Marysville. It took over a space formerly occupied by Noble Palace Chinese Restaurant. This is the third Seattle-area location for the boba chain. The outdoor clothing retailer will shutter its Kent distribution facility in August, the company confirmed Friday. Seattle-based outdoor clothing retailer Filson will shut down its Kent distribution facility Aug. 29, the company confirmed Friday. Thirty-five workers will be laid off due to the closure, according to a company spokesperson. The 228,055-square-foot facility at 6111 S. 228th St. was acquired by Bridge Industrial for $44.3 million in December. Filson is one of multiple tenants.
