The enchanted tea party will take place on August 10 at 9:30 a.m. - this comes before the 11 a.m. matinee of Beauty and the Beast - where tickets can be purchased separately HERE. Your princesses and princes must be three years old and older and must be escorted by an adult. The party will be at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center - located at 222 East Drake Avenue in Auburn.

    COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A church in Columbus is spending the week serving local emergency providers. Eden Church has made sure all emergency providers - from Muscogee County police to Columbus firefighters - were taken care of with breakfasts, lunches and dinners!They began Sunday, July 28 and will continue through Saturday, August 3.     By COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Columbus Fire and EMS is mourning the loss of one of their own. Battalion Chief Kevin Lott passed away on Sunday, July 28. According to the mayor, Chief Lott joined the fire department in 2002. Lott is survived by his wife and two daughters. No other information has been released.

    FORT MOORE, Ga. (WTVM) - Preparing and competing in the Olympics is something most of us cannot process. But one Georgia native and Fort Moore soldier is doing it. Staff Sergeant Will Hinton is competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics in International Trap Shooting. Sgt. Hinton is part of the Army Marksmanship Unit - which has many different hats, including competitions, the Fort Moore lethality department, research and development department, and being encompassed in the U.S. Army recruiting command.

    LAGRANGE, Ga. (WTVM) - A child is injured after being hit by a vehicle in LaGrange on the Fourth of July. On July 4, at approximately 10:21 p.m., officers responded to the area of Robertson Street and Louise Street in reference to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival officers found that a 6-year-old boy had been hit by a vehicle. The juvenile was flown to an Atlanta area hospital for medical treatment.
