    Evidence suggests that Nukeproof is about to rise from the ashes, with a new downhill bike prototype spotted under Dale McMullan - the former head of research and development at Nukeproof and Vitus - at the final round of the GAP Winter League in Ireland. The bike appears to run the same front carbon front triangle as the current Dissent, but it is married to a totally redesigned linkage.

    If "if" were a donkey, we'd all have a ride. But which ride, is the question. We visited the Bespoked Show in Manchester last weekend, taking in an obscene quantity of the boujee and boutique. Victoria Baths was overflowing with well-trimmed moustaches, fine IPA, quality single-origin caffeinated beverages, and a couple hundred of the most obsessed velo enthusiasts who were, as my good friend Pete Scullion would say, in the eye of the frothnado. The bikes were quite nice, too.

    Bosch has developed a new Race e-Bike motor, the Performance Line CX-R, set to arrive on new models this fall. While the Performance Line CX motor released in fall of last year has (for now) a maximum torque of 85 Nm, a 600 W peak power and the capacity to provide up to 340% assistance, the CX-R will be considerably more powerful. Those numbers are increased to 100 Nm torque, with a maximum power of 750 W, and a maximum assistance of 400% of the rider's input.

Now in its 3rd generation, it rolls up with a new-found versatility with capacity to run a 29" or MX wheelset, with a subtly modernized set of geometry figures that don't oversell its intentions. Lo and behold the bike possesses 134mm of rear wheel delivered via the same linkage-driven single-pivot platform seen on the Process 153, and the Process X enduro bike.

    The Starling Dive 26" full suspension frame was home to the Clutch stem, a steel brazed piece manufactured in TaiwanP.S. A clutch refers to a collection of eggs laid by a female starling. They typically lay 4-6 eggs. KOM were showing off a sprag version of their Xeno Infinity Drive Hubs. The hubs have a unique drive mechanism that sits on the disc-side of the hub. The arrangement has the freehub body extending the full length of the hub, with the drive ring encapsulated by a proprietary disc rotor.

Those MTB GO Ride races - Are there any for adults at Castle Coch or under 23 year olds? @WelshCycling
