IntroductionΠ-conjugated organic compound (π-COC) materials, such as conductive polymers, organosulfur compounds and organic carbonyl compounds [1], [2], consisting of π-conjugated system with/without functionalities, have played an important role in electrochemical energy storage devices [3], [4], [5], [6], [7]. In general, the clear and precise electrochemical reaction mechanisms of π-COC electrode materials are cornerstone for designing high-performance organic electrode materials [8].

Various materials such as organic materials [1], natural products [2], pharmaceuticals [3], agrochemicals [4] and other commonly used industrial substances contain sulfur functional groups or sulfur-containing skeletons. More than 20 % of the top 200 prescription medications in the United States include sulfur units, and this percentage is steadily rising [5]. Therefore, it's crucial to create quick and effective processes for the creation and modification of molecules containing sulfur.
