In a deeply disturbing incident, 32 Muslim children and a senior guardian from Maida Babhangama village in Bihar were detained by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Mokama railway station on allegations of child labour trafficking on Monday. The children, who were on their way to pursue Islamic education at Jamia Zakariya Madarsa in Surat, Gujarat, were held for nearly 14 hours before being released due to mounting pressure from local residents and community members.
