It was a barely passable first week for Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video as only Rs. 25 crores* came in. The film was expected to do better and this much seemed on the cards in the first weekend itself once the trailer was unveiled. In fact, at that point in time even Rs. 30 crores seemed very much possible since comedy genre does find some sort of an audience and Rajkummar Rao was returning after Stree 2. However, the film turned out to be a mixed bag and that reflected in audience feedback as well.
