Met Gala Monday is here, at last. Vogue’s premier event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is celebrating “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” a new exhibit at the museum’s Costume Institute. The exhibit honors the history of Black dandyism. “‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’explores the importance of style to the formation of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora, particularly in the United States and Europe,” it states on the Met’s website.
