(Bloomberg) -- BT Group Plc said its earnings would be little changed this year as the UK telecommunications company predicted further broadband customer losses at Openreach. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization are forecast to be £8.2 billion ($11 billion) to £8.3 billion for the fiscal year ending next March, compared to £8.21 billion the previous year, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Vodafone Group Plc Chief Executive Officer Margherita Della Valle said the company’s biggest market, Germany, may return to revenue growth in the current fiscal year after heavy competition and a regulatory change cost it millions of customers and pushed down sales. Billionaire Patrick Drahi’s Altice France SA is considering the sale of a controlling stake in SFR amid buyer interest in a deal that could value the French mobile carrier at as much as €30 billion ($34 billion) including debt, according to people familiar with the matter. The company has sent information on SFR to potential buyers in recent weeks, the people said. The business could attract interest from French competitors like Bouygues SA, Iliad SA and Orange SA, the people said.
