The PEI Shellfish Association (PEISA) is hoping their Future Fishers Program will help those new to the shellfish industry with initial upfront costs of starting in the fishery. “Anybody that was semi-retired, or looking for a part time job, or whatever, it was a way to bring them into the industry, get more product for the buyers, and the beds needed to be worked,” said PEISA President Bob MacLeod. “It was a win-win situation for everybody.”kAm%96 AC@8C2>[ 4C62E65 3J E96 pDD@4:2E:@? :?
