Summer’s arrival brings with it the next leg of Peterborough Speedway’s 2025 schedule. On Saturday, June 21, the Canadian National Autism Foundation presents Kid’s Race. Kid’s Race was started in 2010 as an idea to create a new platform for autism research and awareness. It wasn’t too long after speaking with — and working alongside track owners, officials, drivers, crews and fans — that a bond was formed between advocates for autism research and the racing community.

Weather may have made the early season headlines, but Saturday, May 31 was Peterborough Speedway’s time to shine as the popular Central Ontario oval kicked off its 2025 schedule. Josiasse.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case,” said Peterborough Speedway owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse.

Double Toonie Fan Appreciation Nights are returning to the Peterborough Speedway in 2025. This year’s inaugural Great Canadian RV green flag is slated for May 17 as part of the Pure Country 105 Season Opener, featuring free spectator grandstand admission and a driver autograph session midway through the program. Track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse says this event is the perfect way to launch the new lineup.
