In these financially stressful times, if your home often doubles as an office, workout gym, movie theater, and restaurant, you’re not alone. Now let’s add another space you may not know you need: “wellness rooms.”According to a Dallas designer, “Spaces for wellness, retreat, and recharging are all really popular right now.” You can create “soundbathing” spaces to immerse yourself in soothing instrumental and natural sounds. You can sleep on a bed that uses low-frequency sounds and vibrations.

The King of Kings—Angel Studios’ new film about the life of Christ—set a record for animated faith-based films at the box office, bringing in an estimated $19 million in its opening weekend. It joins The Chosen and House of David as recent success stories in sharing the Bible with a broad audience. But where those live-action shows stress making Scripture come to life in a way that is both engaging and relatable, The King of Kings opts for a different approach, and the film is better for it.

When I pastored in Atlanta, a former governor was a member of our church and gave me passes to attend the Masters several times. It is like no other place I’ve experienced. Television cameras and photographs cannot do justice to the overwhelming beauty, undulation, and majesty of the place. You can almost imagine the greatest golfers across the decades striding up its fairways and putting on its greens.

The Titanic struck an iceberg on this day in 1912, sinking early the next day. The tragedy never ceases to fascinate and trouble us. An “unsinkable ship” that sank on its maiden voyage; the loss of 1,500 lives, scores of them children; the deaths of some of the world’s wealthiest and most famous people. Now we are learning that some of the unsung heroes of the tragedy are crew members who sacrificed their lives to save hundreds of others.

Yesterday’s final round at the Masters was the most emotional round of golf I have ever witnessed. Rory McIlroy won, becoming only the sixth man ever to win all four majors (the “career grand slam”). He did so despite opening the round with a double bogey, hitting his ball into the water on thirteen, and missing a five-foot putt on eighteen that would have won the tournament. When he sank his birdie putt on the first playoff hole to win, he collapsed to the ground in tears and relief.

Sunday's final round at the Masters was the most emotional round of golf I have ever witnessed. Some thoughts: https://t.co/mp6YRGQSAi

This incredible story reminds me of the time King Herod imprisoned Peter, intending to execute him, but “earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church”. As a result, an angel liberated the apostle, enabling his continued ministry.

US pastor Josh Sullivan, abducted in South Africa, rescued in dramatic shootout! Miraculously unharmed. A story of prayer, resilience, and God's intervention. https://t.co/wHkrRc2Oii
