Southmoreland junior Megan Mehall was in medal contention midway through the 800-meter finals at the PIAA Class 2A Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Shippensburg University. Geibel Catholic's Emma Larkin had two chances at a PIAA Class AA Individual Track & Field Championship medal, and the junior came through Saturday with a pair of seventh-place finishes. Geibel Catholic’s Emma Larkin entered Friday’s opening day of the PIAA Class 2A Individual Track & Field Championship at Shippensburg University with two chances for a medal, and the junior came through by advancing to Saturday’s final in both events. Larkin opened in the 400 and earned one of the eight lanes, barely slipping into the finals after finishing third in her heat with a time of 58.31 seconds.
