The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking information about recent damage to a historic salt tram tower in Saline Valley. It appears the 113-year-old tower was pulled over while a person used a winch to extract their vehicle out of deep mud, the NPS said in a news release. The damage happened sometime between April 1 and April 24, 2024. “I have hiked along sections of this tramway, and am amazed by the tenacity it took to build,” said Superintendent Mike Reynolds.

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) — Costco is cracking down on who can go into the food court, at least that's what one Reddit user says. A photo from the Reddit user at a Costco in Orlando, Florida shows a sign that says people without an active Costco membership won't be allowed to buy items from the food court. The rule has always been in place but analysts say it was never really enforced. The sign in Orlando says the membership card rule officially becomes effective on April 8.
