Land breezes will keep most shower activity over the coastal waters or near the coast at night. Waimanalo's own Tetairoa McMillan went off the board early, going eighth overall to the Carolina Panthers. The Arizona receiver is the first Hawaii-born player since Tua Tagovailoa in 2020 to be taken in the first round. The fast food restaurant is expected to open early next year, and will feature Sonic's classic curbside drive-in style service and roller-skating car hops. The drive-in expects to create over 100 new jobs in the local area.
