A dry start so far this morning, as clouds are slowly returning to the area, soon to be followed by scattered showers and thundershowers by late this morning and through the afternoon. Mild temperatures will make for a great start, too, for the rush hour and at the bus stop...enjoy!By this afternoon, thicker clouds will be in play, as greater shower chances emerge, along with a few thundershowers. Even with the chances rising, many dry locations will be expected for outdoor projects.

Skies are clear and temperatures cool to start out our Friday morning. A fantastic sunrise is expected but a light jacket certainly will be needed through 10 a.m., as temperatures will hover between 45-55° out-the-door. This afternoon brings the sun and a steady climb in temperatures, as highs reach near 70° by 5 p.m. Winds will turn less breezy too, from the northeast at 5-10 mph. Perfect for practice and qualifications for the Grand Prix at IMS.

Spotty showers and thundershowers will be in play today, under thicker clouds at times. Expect a fairly mild and quiet start to the morning, as large parts of the state will remain dry through the early rush. Out-the-door temperatures will vary between 53-63° for the area. This afternoon, a limited shower chance (20%) will remain for Indianapolis and points north! A greater chance (60%) of rain and a few storms will remain from I-70 and points south, closer to the boundary.

A great start this morning, as dry weather holds and temperatures hover near seasonal levels out-the-door (lower 50s). No doubt, a quiet start for the rush, under a mix of clouds and sunshine. This afternoon, we will continue a steady climb in temperatures, as highs reach the middle 70s under a blend of sun and clouds with variable winds at 5 mph. Eventually, clouds thicken by the evening rush hour with a minimal, pop shower across the state...less than 10% chance.

Lingering showers are slowly and finally lifting out of the state this morning! We are off to a cool start, as a few showers dot the state through 10:00am. As the closed-low lifts further into Ohio, sunshine will build from west to east. Expect morning rush hours temperatures ranging between 48-53° at sunrise. This afternoon, sunnier skies return and temperatures will warm into the lower 70s on breezy winds at 8-15 mph.
