Another dry start this morning, as temperatures are warmer and dew points higher out-the-door, marking a slightly muggier morning rush hour. Area temperatures should hold, for most, in the lower 70s at sunrise (6:18 a.m.) with south, southwest winds at 5-10 mph. This afternoon will bring a thickening of clouds, while winds remain breezy to gusty at times, up to 30 mph. Expect a ton of dry time throughout the day, as highs reach the middle 80s.

Today will mark our fourth straight day of dry weather conditions and the warmest of this week! Our morning sunrise should be another nice and quiet one, statewide. Morning temperatures are holding in the upper 50s and lower 60s, so a really comfortable start is expected, while some haze will be indicated from the wildfire smoke drifting in from southern Canada.

Skies are mainly clear and quiet to start your Monday morning, as the winds are light and dew points remain very dry. This will create a beautiful, crisp sunrise and start to a new workweek! Expect a very tranquil morning rush hour. This afternoon will be sunshine dominate! There could be a touch of haze too, at times, with some wildfire smoke trapped in the upper parts of the atmosphere; a result from the wildfires burning in southern Canada.

Early rain showers will ease throughout mid to late morning, before a somewhat drier punch of air works in for the bulk of the afternoon/early evening. Roads are damp to start, with the wettest in our southern counties, as temperatures hold between 56-61° at sunrise. Many dry hours are expected for this afternoon, as clouds break at times and temperatures return to the lower 70s.

Heavy fog in spots this morning, as a dense fog advisory holds until 9 a.m.! Skies are partly to mostly cloudy and with sunrise at 6:20 a.m., expect fog to burn off steadily. Out-the-door temperatures are hovering in the middle to upper 50s, which is fairly seasonal for late May. Some extra time for the rush hour might be a good idea. This afternoon will bring a mix of clouds and sunshine, plenty of dry time and milder air with highs reaching the lower 70s.
