(GREEN BAY ROCKERS) ASHWAUBENON, Wis. – The Green Bay Rockers took home a commanding 16-2 victory over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders on Thursday evening at Herr-Baker Field in Fond du Lac. Green Bay jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning with a walk, sacrifice fly and a Justin Journette two-RBI single. In the third, they found even more success at the plate, bringing around eight runs and batting around the lineup to take a 12-0 lead early.

(TIMBER RATTLERS) GRAND CHUTE, WI – The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers both had thirteen hits on Thursday night at Neuroscience Group Field. The Kernels would go 6-for-17 with runners in scoring position to be able to do more with their hits on the way to an 10-6 victory over the Rattlers. The Kernels (32-21) scored four runs in the top of the first inning against Tyson Hardin. A single and a walk started the game.

(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers weren’t able to protect a two-run lead, falling to Cincinnati Tuesday night by a 4-2 score. That ended Milwaukee’s eight-game winning streak. Sal Frelick had a home run, and Christian Yelich extended his hitting streak to 10 games in a row by singling twice. TJ Friedl saved the game for the Reds by making a leaping catch on Jake Bauers’ long fly in the ninth. Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Bauers gave that ball a ride.
