I think about my late father a lot and he flooded into my memories last month as I was honored and humbled to accept the Holocaust Education Resource Council’s Steve Uhlfelder Humanitarian Award. If you were at the incredible awards ceremony – I was blown away by the sold-out crowd of 400 -- you saw me get emotional and talk about how proud my father would have been on this night. In hindsight, the evening was emotional for multiple reasons.
