To investigate transcriptome changes in different cell types during AD, we obtained the GSE157827 and GSE174367 datasets from the Gene Expression Omnibus database (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo) [21]. GSE157827 includes snRNA-seq data from prefrontal cortical samples of 12 patients with AD (8 males and 4 females) averaging 74.6 years of age and 9 normal control subjects (6 males and 3 females) averaging 85.4 years of age, based on the GPL24676 platform [22].
