3. Results 3.1. Spatial Distribution of the Land Surface TemperatureThe LST spatial distribution in the main urban area of Wuhan in summer and winter is shown in Figure 3. The areas with high summer LST are mainly distributed west of the Yangtze River and north of the Han River, as well as industrial zones and economic development zones located in the northeast and southwest parts of the study area, respectively. The highest surface temperature reached 54.06 °C in summer.
