This work investigates the problem of preview tracking sliding mode control (SMC) under event-triggered strategy (ETS) for continuous-time singular systems (SSs) with time-varying delay. Due to the existence of a singular derivative matrix and time-varying delay in SSs, the existing preview control method can not be directly applied. Regarding this point, a new singular augmented system (AS) is designed.
