IntroductionOver the past decade, advancements in aberrometry have provided a more comprehensive and objective indicator of the optical and visual quality of human eyes. The assessment of higher order aberrations (HOAs) is crucial in evaluating customized wavefront-guided ablations and the visual quality after laser corneal refractive surgery. HOAs can also serve as a useful tool in identifying forme fruste keratoconus and assessing the progression of keratoconus.
