1. IntroductionNatural hazards, such as floods, drought, cyclones, heatwaves, and bushfires, are a global phenomenon, with some increasing in prevalence due to anthropogenically driven climate change [1]. The resulting disasters, in particular bushfires, can affect large areas of the natural environment as well as communities living in and around these affected regions [2,3]. The response to, and communication around, these events can be critical in the recovery phase following disasters [4,5].
