Paul Simon returned to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday for a performance of “The Sacred Harp” from his most recent album, 2023’s Seven Psalms. The 83-year-old singer also sat down with Colbert for an interview. While backed by a string section, Simon delivered a tender performance of the track with an assist from his longtime partner and renowned musician in her own right, Edie Brickell. Together, they transformed the song into a gorgeous duet.

Lorde has released “Hammer,” the third and final single from her upcoming album, Virgin. “Hammer” was written by Lorde and producer Jim-E Stack, and serves as the album opener for Virgin. Speaking about the track on Instagram, Lorde called it “an ode to city life and horniness tbh.”Watch the music video for “Hammer” below. Virgin will arrive in full on June 27th, marking Lorde’s first full-length album since 2021’s Solar Power.

Fender has unveiled the Khruangbin Collection, a limited edition run of guitars and basses modeled after the instruments used by the band’s Mark Speer and Laura Lee. The collaboration honors the sounds that color Khruangbin’s lush, psych fusion arrangements, and marks the first time in Fender’s history that they’ve released a signature instrument line for a band’s guitarist and bassist at the same time.
