We had a week of pretty cold weather two weeks ago (most of the week was below 30), so last week we ENJOYED 70's and 80's, and all of a sudden, leaves were popping out on the trees, plus blossoms, and bulbs are popping up everywhere. I have two oak trees on either side of my driveway, and they are usually the last of the trees to show leaves, but my neighbor's tree is GORGEOUS, all leafed out and white blossoms.

Beacon Point has been a highly sought-after neighborhood due to the executive homes and the location close to Aurora Reservoir, all within Cherry Creek School District. Beacon Point is located in zip code 80016. There are approximately 875 homes in Beacon Point. And, although this is a larger neighborhood, we don't see much activity.

This past week in Denver was just beautiful, with temps in the 70's and even upper 80's. Sure felt like Springtime in Denver. With that, however, came a fire in the foothills and a few acres burned, but thankfully no structures and is now out. Went to a celebration of life yesterday for a Safeway store manager. I worked at Safeway for 20 years and worked for a District Manager with 13 stores. I worked with these store managers very closely for 9 years until my boss retired.

You will find this quaint town Southeast of Denver proper, and about 20 miles or 30 minutes away. It is easy to catch the light rail at Lincoln if you work downtown or somewhere along the line. There are about 62,743 residents in the Town of Parker, and Main Street is a fun place to dine, listen to live music, or enjoy the retail outlets. If you are looking to buy a home in Parker, there is quite a variety of home styles and neighborhoods.

The Town of Castle Rock is located about 30 minutes (29 miles) south of Denver and enjoys a population of 70,687. The elevation of Castle Rock is 6,202 feet above sea level. Castle Rock includes Castle Pines and many rural farm areas outside the City limits. The Castle Rock real estate market for the month of March 2025 has started out a bit slow, and inventory is up compared to past years.

Knowing over the next year or two I will be traveling Internationally, and thought that Global Entry would be nice. I THOUGHT it would work driving across the Canadian border too, but now know that is NEXUS. But, all I have to have to cross into Canada is my Passport. I applied a week or so ago for the Global Entry, and yesterday was my face to face meeting. The office was at the airport, and wasn't really sure where it was. My appointment was at 9 am, so left 75 minutes early.

CTMecontracts is our digital contracting platform we use in Colorado. Actually, think another company just bought it out, and now MRI Software. They are tweaking and adding products all the time, so it is important to look and see what the new features are!This week they sent out another email offering a WebEx class called Small Bites, and they went over the Docs Management section, along with the SMART contracts we can add.

The 32nd Annual Furry Scurry will be held at Wash Park in Denver May 3rd, 2025. All monies raised (100%) will go for the care of over 47,000 homeless pets at the Human Colorado (formerly Dumb Friends League). This will be a 2-mile walk that begins at 9 am around Wash Park, with refreshments before, during, and after walks. There should be around 12,000 people in attendance and 5,000 dogs. This year there will be food trucks in the area also.

I LOVE to travel, and if you have read my posts, you KNOW! I have only a few cords - headset & fitbit, and then the phone cord. I recently bought a slimmer and less heavy power bank, and also a longer phone cord. I used to put these all into a plastic ziplock bag, but they get all tangled, and when you pull one out, most of them come out. My friend had a cool tech mesh bag with his cords, so I went in search of something that would work for me.

I have two listings and my showing service sends out an email shortly after the showing is past the designated time, then if no feedback is received, again the next morning, and the 2nd day after the showing. I also call the day after the showing if no feedback is received. Our market is still a bit slow in Denver, and I feel the feedback really helps the seller (and me) change anything we need to. Probably 50% or less of the buyer's agents give feedback these days.
