AbstractPerioperative immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) trials for intermediate high-risk clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) have failed to consistently demonstrate improved patient outcomes. These unsuccessful ICI trials suggest that the tumour infiltrating immunophenotypes, termed here as the immune cell types, states and their spatial location within the tumour microenvironment (TME), were unfavourable for ICI treatment.

Comparing Quality of the Commercial and In-House CAGE Sequencing Protocols Raw tag counts were normalised to quantify the expression from each individual TSS and to enable comparison between multiple samples. Tag counts ranged from 10–20 million for the commercial protocol and 5–9 million for the in-house protocol (Table 2).

Dear Colleagues,The human endometrium is unique because it is a highly regenerative tissue and heals without scarring. Menstruation generates not only pain but also, via retrograde menstruation, contributes to endometriosis. Although Sampson’s implantation hypothesis is generally accepted as the most likely cause of endometriosis, more hypotheses, such as inflammation, hypoxia etc., are needed to explain why only a minor fraction of women get the disease.
