A former teacher who posed as a teenager on Snapchat has pleaded guilty to 29 sex offences against 26 children, including one as young as 10. Simon Clark, of no fixed abode in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, worked at a school in north Wales and was arrested in August 2023 after police in north Wales were contacted by a concerned parent who reported that their teenage daughter had been receiving messages from an unknown man requesting naked images.

It is six degrees in the seaside town of Rhyl but with the biting cold coming in from the sea, it feels like minus one.This evening, camera operator Mark and I will be heading out to try to get a picture of homelessness in the area. As dusk draws in, we meet Mick and Wendy on the town's high street. They've come to meet charity worker Richard Kendrick. He has become a lifeline to homeless people here, often handing out tents, sleeping bags, and food vouchers donated from local businesses.

Six men charged in relation with a “sophisticated and organised” operation to bring Class A drugs into the country have been put behind bars for more than 50 years between them. Sitting at Mold Crown Court, Judge Rhys Rowlands told defendants Mark Blower, Charles Dilworth, Jon Fairclough, Michael Day, David Hague and Jamie Menagh that the quantities of drugs involved in this operation were “vast”, believed to be “several hundred kilograms” and beyond what is normally dealt with at the court.

The new MP for Ynys Mon is Llinos Medi - a former Council Leader on the island who swept to victory for Plaid Cymru earlier this month, beating the incumbent Conservative politician Virginia Crosbie. It was a battle to win over Islanders - often thought of as loyal to the party in power but Llinos Medi is used to fighting to be heard. "I'm a farmer's daughter", she said.

She has got the world at her feet, but with a General Election on the horizon, she is looking for answers. Hebron, who is in her twenties, says: "Climate change and the environment should not be a topic 'to deal with.' "It should be the topic and the rest of the things should come in to support it.
