The New Testament leaves no doubt as to the deity of Christ. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. He is the creator of all things in heaven and on earth, both visible and invisible. He calms storms, casts out demons, rais.es the dead, forgives sin and presents himself as the only way to eternal life. He has the keys of death and Hades. He is the ruler of the kings of this earth and all authority in heaven and earth is subordinate to him.

Talbot School of Theology professor and renowned philosopher J.P. Moreland authored a new book defending the soul with Talbot alumnus and professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University Brandon Rickabaugh. The book, The Substance of Consciousness: A Comprehensive Defense of Contemporary Substance Dualism, will publish this fall. The book is described as a singularly powerful and rigorous argument in favor of modern substance dualism by publisher Wiley-Blackwell.
