For the past few decades, Windows has used the NTFS file system as the default for fixed drives on a PC, and that has stuck all the way through today. In recent years, though, Microsoft has been working on a new file system called ReFS, which stands for Resilient File System. ReFS isn't exactly new in the grand scheme of things, but it hasn't been widely used in Windows so far.

Some things never get old. And some things do, but they age incredibly well. Even as Windows has changed and evolved significantly over the years, there are some programs that remain very useful to this day, whether it's because Windows 11 doesn't support certain features, because the official solutions are too bloated and clunky for some users, or the fact that these are simply great tools, there are a lot of old pieces of software that are still great today.

I've been spending a few weeks with my ReMarkable 2 review unit, and I've been loving it. Last week, I even wrote an entire article using the tablet, and it was certainly an experience. The downside of working primarily at a computer is that, at any given time, you have a whole universe of distractions available to you. It would be wonderful if we could all just focus on the task at hand at all times, but I'm sure I'm not alone in falling for temptation more often than I should. Whether it's YouTube or some online forums where I can geek out about Nintendo, it can be hard to stay on task. Thankfully, for when I don't have self-control, there's... well, SelfControl.

I've reviewed many handhelds from OneXPlayer, and while the hardware is generally solid, each time I test a device I run into far more issues than I'd like. I'd given up on reviewing them, but something about the OneXFly F1 Pro called to me when it came across my inbox, and I decided to go ahead with it. To my surprise, I ended up really enjoying using this machine, and I could see myself picking it up more often in the future.
